DR.'s REMEDY® PUTS PINK IN THE SPOTLIGHT THIS OCTOBER

Pink is the go-to hue this fall as beauty brands tap into every gradation of the standout shade in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. Dr.'s REMEDY® leads the way in the fight for the cause by teaming up with Living Beyond Breast Cancer, whose mission is to empower all women affected by breast cancer to live as long as possible with the best quality of life.
The good-for-you ingredients and lack of toxins in Dr.'s REMEDY® Enriched Nail Polish offers a safer, healthier option for nail care, giving you peace of mind. And, during the month of October,
Dr.'s REMEDY® is tickled pink to donate 10% of the proceeds from the sales of three pink shades to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, an organization who ensures that women who are newly diagnosed, in treatment, beyond treatment, at high risk or living with metastatic disease are well cared for by providing educational resources and support services relevant to their age at and stage of diagnosis.
Made with organic ingredients, vitamins, wheat protein, tea tree oil, lavender, and garlic bulb extract, Dr.'s REMEDY® 100% Paraben free, vegan nail polish is the #1 podiatrist recommended brand. So, polish your nails with pride and show your support in the hopes for a better battle with breast cancer with Dr.'s REMEDY® Enriched Nail Polish, the healthier nail polish choice, in three inspiring shades:

HOPEFUL Hot Pink: A Hello Kitty-meets bubble gum shade
This is totally Hello Kitty! Is my favorite of the trio because Im a Hello Kitty fan and also hot pink fan.  This pink goes more for the magenta side. I only needed 2 coats for full coverage. Im using this one right now.

NURTURE Nude Pink: A damsel-in-distress, barely there beautiful
We had seen this before on Spring 2011. This is a soft pink cream with peach shimmer than I cant never see it on the nail , is really hard to catch on pictures of the bottle but is there. This one is a bit hard to manage and I needed 3 coats.

PURITY Pink: A ballet slipper, sheer hue
Another one that I love because is really delicate and can be use to create a natural french look mani.  This a sheer pink that remind me of ballet.

Dr.'s REMEDY® Enriched Nail Polish is available for $17 online at www.remedynails.com or by calling  1-877-323-NAIL.

A Step by Step Guide to Spectacular Nail Art

                          Guest post by Fabulous Collections

Whatever the occasion and whatever your style, there is no better way to complement your outfit than with designer jewellery and of course, fantastic nails! In the past few years nail art has gone from being the quirky touch of the dedicated, to the essential finish for just about everyone. So here are our top 5 tips on what every girl needs to get started.

                          Equipment
If you are serious about nail art then you need to get yourself set up with a few essential items to make the transition from dull to funky, with minimal hassle. First and foremost, experiment with nail polish brands until you find one that works well for you and don’t forget to try acrylic craft paints, too. When it comes to implements, there’s no need to invest in a professional nail art kit; tooth-picks and fine-art brushes from your local craft store are just as efficient for the creation of eye-catching designs.

Start as you mean to go on
Don’t fool yourself into thinking you can scrimp on the groundwork when it comes to nail art because the success of your final creation will rely entirely on your base. Make sure you apply two coats of your chosen base colour so that your nails are nice and strong and ensure the finish is smooth and completely dry. Using a higher quality nail polish will be a worthwhile investment for this part – remember, this is your canvas!

                          What’s your Style?
It’s so tempting to throw yourself in at the deep end trying to create elaborate and daring designs immediately, but some of the most eye-catching nail art is actually very simple. Try starting with basic dots then move on to trailing dots by applying the polish dot after dot without re-dipping. You can make flowers with dots and even swirls by dragging the wet dot outwards using a toothpick. When you have a little more confidence try drawing a simple shape onto each nail before filling it in and remember, more ornate designs can be practiced on paper first.

                          Accessorise
The easiest way to take your nail art effortlessly from day to night is by adding a few touches with sparkling jewels and stickers. These can be added quickly with a little dab of nail glue and will accentuate any design you already have in place. You could also try mixing some glitter with nail polish before painting it onto your style using a delicate brush – perfect to jazz up a plain block colour, or finish off a flower centerpiece.

                          Taking Care
It doesn’t matter how beautiful your nails look, if your hands are dry and cracked, that’s all anyone will notice. Make sure you wear gloves when you do household chores and indulge in a daily moisturising treat to keep your skin soft and supple.

Nail art is a wonderful way for everyone to really show off their personality so if you don’t have the confidence to be daring in your dress, why not pour your personality into to your nails instead!

Mysterious Curse of the shooting star

Hello dear readers! Its been few days since my last post, so sorry about it, been working A LOT! I still have few Halloween manis pending and few tutorials to edit, once again, sorry.

mysterious curse is just wow... I mean, this nail polish doesn't say much when you look at it at first but when you apply it and let it dry there's when the magic starts. This nail polish is like a blue/purple duochrome it changes from blue to red, really pretty. I only needed 2 coats for full coverage and it has a nice application.

Needles to say, I took a lot of photos :)

I did a nail tutorial about this, but using "more easy to find" items, I'm not sure to upload it since it doesn't look the same as in the photo, so please if you would like to see a tutorial, then lets do a vote!

                          Thanks for passing by! xoxo!
